Women’s Community Projects
To facilitate the empowerment of everyone through education, training and
Community Enterprise Development.
Welcome to Women’s Community Projects based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
We are a not-for-profit Community Project and a registered charity.
Established in 1985, we have spent almost 40 years dedicating our time to supporting the people of Mullingar and surrounding areas to become empowered through education, training and community enterprise development.

Women’s Community Projects has a long and proud tradition of service to the local community, in particular to women, children and their families.
Over the years, the centre has developed a range of training programmes that have provided our community with the skills and supports to secure employment or continued education. To this day, the Project continues to expand, modify and diversify its activities, in line with the needs of the local Community.
Today, Women’s Community Projects provides a range of integrated support services to families and in particular to people of Mullingar.
It is now Mullingar’s largest training and development centre and is also home to one of the biggest childcare facilities in the country.
